66 songs were submitted for this year’s edition of the Maltese selection. A professional jury had selected the twenty songs that were performed on the night of the 12th of September.
Finally it were Francesca Sciberras and Mikaela Bajjada whose performance of Double Trouble won the hearts of the seven-member jury, one of the member's votes to be the ones from the televoters.
My One True Passion performed by Ylenia Vella qualified as the runner up. The Mambo Song by Sarah Bonnici placed third.
The winner's trophy was given to the lucky duo by last year's Maltese winner Daniel Testa. Now it's time to start preparing for Kyiv! Good luck!
