Having received nearly 40 applications for their national selection for Junior Eurovision 2015, Belarusian broadcaster BTRC is now in the process of whittling down these applicants to the final number that will take part in the live television show.
A professional jury will select between seven and 10 acts to take part in the national selection, which itself will take place on 21 August. The lucky acts to make it to the televised show will audition in front of the jury on 26 June, with the decision about who makes it to the live shows made known by 1 July.
Belarus has taken part in every edition of Junior Eurovision since its beginning in 2003, winning the competition twice. Minsk also hosted the competition in 2010.
