Online press activities and handbook
A media handbook will not be published this year but an official programme is available online to those covering the event (67MB). There will be 3 virtual press conferences during the event week featuring the artists, producers and the winner.
Friday 27 November 14:00 CET: EBU/TVP press conference
Saturday 28 November 14:30 CET: Press conference with all the artists
Sunday 29 November: approx. 19:30 CET Press conference with the winner
Press can send their questions to [email protected] until one hour before each press conference. Questions for the winner can be submitted closer to the press conference. Fans will be able to ask questions in the YouTube live chat during the streams.
More details about the press conferences and their starting times will be released soon.
High-resolution photo downloads
Various selections of high-resolution images are made available free of charge before, during and after the event. These images may only be used by media for editorial purposes. It is mandatory to credit the photographer in accordance with the copyright information provided with each image.
Press policy and rules
All journalists reporting on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 are asked to follow these rules:
All forms of press contact must be handled by the participating broadcasters in such a way that young artists are not out of their depth or placed in situations in which they cannot cope. The Head of Delegation or Head of Press shall be the sole point of contact vis-à-vis the press.
Press members must contact the Heads of Delegation or Heads of Press with all requests for interviews and photoshoots.
It is prohibited to film or broadcast the whole show in any way without written permission from the EBU.
Online media are welcome to embed videos from the official YouTube channel of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for editorial use when reporting on the Junior Eurovision Song Contest only.
Copying the footage for re-use on YouTube and/or on other platforms is strictly prohibited.
