L.E.V.O.N will represent Armenia at the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk with the song 'L.E.V.O.N'.
L.E.V.O.N is 12 years old and was born in Yerevan, Armenia. Despite his young age, he has already participated in ‘The Voice Kids’ in Russia where he was coached by Valeriy Meladze.
In his hometown of Stepanakert, L.E.V.O.N was an active member of the Creative Centre talent school. Sometime after he and his family moved to Moscow, Russia, L.E.V.O.N enrolled in Igor Krutoy’s music academy. Two years later, he auditioned for The Voice Kids in Russia. L.E.V.O.N’s success continued, as he won multiple music competitions and festivals both nationally and internationally.
In 2018, L.E.V.O.N submitted his application for Depi Mankakan Evratesil, Armenia’s national selection for the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. On 22 September, he won the competition, ranking first with both the adult and the kids’ jury.
L.E.V.O.N’s song was written and composed by Artem Valter, a 32-year-old singer, songwriter and music producer who had success with Nebo for Anastasiya Petryk, the winner of the 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In 2014, Artem graduated from the ‘Los Angeles Recording School’ and nowadays produces pop, hip-hop and RnB songs for himself and other Armenian artists.
